GRAY CEMENT TYPES

Cement type CP II

It is a cement comprised of standard admixtures for general application, in that there is no need of very strong early strength. It is ideal for applications like cement articles, concrete blocks, concrete in general, textured concrete, concrete structures, foundations, underground galleries, paving-stones, interlocking floors, industrial floors, large pre-casts, mortars in general and fibercement. Identified by dark blue color.

Cement type CP III

Blast furnace portland cement, for jobs of mass concrete and exposed to the environment which requires low heat of hydration and optimum ultimate strength. Recommended for cement articles, large concrete blocks, concrete in general, textured concrete, concrete structures, foundations, used as reactive aggregates, jobs in sea environments, underground galleries, paving-stones, interlocking floors, industrial floors, large pre-casts, sanitation developments, dams and pavements. Identified by red color.

Cement type CP IV

Portland pozzolan cement for mass concrete jobs and with exposure to the environment which require low heat of hydration and optimum ultimate strength. Recommended for cement articles, large concrete blocks, concrete in general, textured concrete, concrete structures, foundations, use with reactive aggregates, jobs in a sea environment, underground galleries, large pre-casts, sanitation developments, dams and pavements. Identified by light blue color.

Cement type CP V

High early strength portland cement, specially suitable for situations that require high early strength and good workability and in situations that it is not exposed to aggressive attacks. For that specific situation, of exposure to aggressive attacks there is CPV RS, sulfate resistant.

The CP V cement is suitable for cement articles, concrete blocks, concrete in general, textured concrete, pre-cast pegs in location and prefabricated”, concrete structures, fibercement, foundations, underground galleries, paving-stones, interlocking floors, industrial floors, large pre-casts and concrete roof tiles. Identified by orange color.
