Use Instructions

The application of Votomassa Multiple-Purpose can be carried out on ceramic and concrete blocks, and bricks.




Mechanical Mixer: Mix in mortar mixer, to ensure a better consistency control.

Mix by hand: for preparation, place the mortar in a clean recipient. Open space in the middle of the mortar (still in powdered form) and add water slowly.


For Setting

Check if the substrate used for setting is clean, dry and dust free. Spread the mortar at the location where the wall will be built and place the first tier of blocks or bricks. Then, spread another coat of mortar on the blocks or bricks set beneath in the first tier and form a new tier, and so on successively. When setting the blocks and bricks, press them together so that there is a good mortar bonding with the block or brick.

Remove the excess mortar appearing at the sides with the margin trowel. To make the vertical joints, apply the mortar on the side of the blocks, removing any excess with a margin trowel.

Coating

Spread the mortar across in coats, with a maximum thickness of 3 cm. After filling in the square to be coated, wait for the setting time of the mortar to occur. Apply a second coat once the thickness is more than 3.0 cm, and then initiate leveling.

Level using a metal trowel, in order to set the mortar to the final thickness coat defined in the reference manual ( Slab or Strip).

To obtain the best finish use the plastic finish trowel.

In this manner, the coating surface will be ready for painting or to receive any other kind of finish.

IMPORTANT

The use of Votomassa Multi-Purpose is not indicated for projection application. For this type of application we recommend the use of VOTOMASSA PROJECTION.
