PROJECTION PLASTER

Use Instructions

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The substrate where VOTOMASSA PROJECTION PLASTER will be applied must be level, clean, dry, free from dust, oily substances, paint, mortar remains and other materials that prevent bonding.

MORTAR APPLICATION

VOTOMASSA PROJECTION PLASTER may be used in any projection gear. For application the projection gear must be set-up for water content of 8.8 to 9.2 liters for each mortar bag. For easier ways of applying and better air distribution throughout the surface to be coated, we recommend carrying out the projection in horizontal strips, top down, in single coats of no more than 3.0 cm thick. For thickness greater than 3.0 cm, after applying the first coat, wait for the mortar setting and then apply a second coat. For thickness greater than 6.0 cm, place galvanized canvas between the coats. These intermediary coats must not be leveled, since they will be receiving additional coats.

FINISH

The leveling and troweling must be made after the mortar setting. We recommend using a plastic finish trowel to provide better finishing. The coating may be polished to achieve a finer texture if the finish is made with a wood float and subsequently felted.

 IMPORTANT
Use protection gear such as glasses and rubber gloves.
In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water. If there is drying, apply a hydrant lotion.
In case of eye contact, immediately wash with plenty of water and find medical assistance.
In case of ingestion, immediately find medical assistance.
