Features
Applications
- Leveling mortar, used as substrate for other
floor finishes.
- Final floor mortar for cemented type.
Note
- Cannot be used for ceramic tile setting.
- Cannot be used for making concrete.
The mortar must be prepared following the packaging instructions, adding
the amount of water recommended by mechanical
mixer, which may also be mixed by hand in the
mortar box. The mortar must present a humidity
content of a slightly damp consistency, allowing
application by compression.
Working Time
The subfloor industrialized mortars must not be
used 2 hours after the preparation time.
Use
- Less than 40 mm thick: first,
a bonding bridge must be prepared between the
substrate and the subfloor, applying a cement
grout and spreading it around with a broom.
While the coat is still damp, the subfloor mortar
must be used, spreading and compacting it with
the mortar hoe, then leveling and troweling.
- More than 40 mm thick: the
subfloor must be prepared with 40 mm coats,
and, after compacting the first coat, the second
coat must be applied immediately and be compacted,
leveled and troweled.
- When preparing the subfloor, it is important
to keep in mind the construction details: level,
slope, presence of joints and corners rounding
for the application of waterproofing.
